This late 20th century original piece is made in the USA and is part of the Monkey series, its brand PETITE CHOSES speaks to its quality. I purchased The Monkey in 1988 with many other Petite Choses items. Somewhere along the way the glass bud vase was broken. It can be replaced with one from a florist. NO missing paint. The felt and label are missing from the bottom as shown in the last picture At some point I had glued a piece of cardboard ( noting the date I purchased it 1988) on the bottom to protect my furniture which is why you see missing paint on the bottom. If it appears that there is missing paint on the Monkey it is only places like the wire holding the apron or the baskets of flowers has rubbed. against him.
