Girl with Cello

The piece appears to be a Vintage Anri Toriart Hand-Carved Alpine Wooden “Girl with Cello” Hand-Painted Figurine. The am not sure if it the top of a music box or a stand alone piece. These pieces are made in Italy by Anri which is known for their wood-carved collectibles. This piece may sit on top of a Swiss musical movement, often produced by Reuge. When wound, the figurine typically rotates while playing a tune. The piece has some sort of damage on the back. These pieces were popular in the mid 1900s. The piece is 4.5” tall and 2.5” wide.
