Some treasures don’t need to be loud to stand out. This hand-painted bird has the gentlest, almost bashful expression, while its beautifully sculpted colorful tail adds a playful touch from every angle. Signed and dated D. Porter ’73 on the underside, it’s a unique piece of handmade folk art with plenty of warmth and character. Light paint wear is present on the underside from age (shown in photos), but it displays beautifully and is ready for its next home.
