Elegant vintage (estimated 1980’s) Boudoir doll featuring a sophisticated Flapper girl wearing a gorgeous satin lined velvet corduroy coat with (faux) fur on the bottom hem, cuffs and collar. She has a matching fur Russian styled hat. Underneath she wears a deep burgundy red crushed velvet dress with a lace lined drop waist and a matching neck scarf. Under her dress she wears a pair of panaloons with lace hem. On her feet she wears a pair of black T-strap heels which are painted and not removeable. All of her clothes are removable and her body is made of linen (torso, upper legs and arms) and her head, forearms and legs are made of some type of polymer. Her hair painted in an elegant Flapper pixie. Her pretty face is painted and includes two beauty marks. This elegant gal measures 29″ in height and 6″ in width and 3″ in depth, clothed. She is in excellentcondition, her only issues are that someone reglued her head at the neck as well as one arm, but is secure, (see last 2 photos for reference). My Mother died over 20 years ago, and I am finally listing this beautiful Marie Antoinette boudoir doll on eBay so some othercollector can enjoy her. Lavishly dressed in embroidered pink taffeta with sheer and satin bows, and beige rope tassels. Her underskirt is pale pink with a sheer rolled edging featuring sheer pink ribbon roses above a sheer skirt. She is made ofporcelain and is a half doll, most of which are from the hips up to the head.She holds a golden fan with the same rosette and tassels. Her blouse has sheer cap sleeves with ruffles. Her face is serene, which might hide a headache from the huge pompadour wig with large corkscrew ringlets decorated with another sheer ribbon bow and pink rosette. In real life MarieAntoinette wore huge hoops under her skirts. This one has a padded two-tone base allowing her to preside over thosearound her. The doll is signed on the back, but I cannot read it. If anyone knows who the designer is, I would love to know.It also has the year of production, 2007, and her number 136/500. She is in perfect condition and will be very carefully packed in a sturdy box with lots of padding. She stands 9 1/2-inches tall and is 11-inches wide.
