Golden Girls Inspired Hand-Crafted “Blanche’s Boudoir” Miniature Bedroom Set

This is a Hand-Crafted Miniature that I designed and built inspired by the bedroom set of Blanche Devereaux from the classic television show The Golden Girls. I have meticulously done my best to recreate the feeling of the set right down to the matching bedspread, curtains and tropical leaf backdrop of this iconic room. I have created two versions of this set- one representing the first season when her nightstands were wicker (“Enough wicker!”) and then later seasons when her furniture became more modern, shiny mica with rounded corners- so take your pick. Both pieces measure 4″ tall x 4″ deep x 5″ wide and, except for the wood frames, are made completely out of paper! Medium card stock, heavy card stock, printer paper, chipboard and paper clay!! All designed, cut, glued, molded, painted, shellacked and assembled by me from my own designs. If you look close you will also find a tiny can of whipped cream in one nightstand and one of her journals in the other (turnstile at the end of the hall and mirror over the bed not included). Hope you like ’em. And as always… thank you for being a friend!
