Pair Antique Hand Painted Hollow Boy and Girl Bisque Porcelain Figurines

Here’s a pair of antique hollow bottom bisque porcelain figurines. This hand painted pair features a boy in sailor type outfit with what appears to be a fishing net and a girl with shovel and basket. They each measure 9 1/2 inches tall. Condition is good. There are no chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs. I want to mention that the basket the girl holds has a square hole in it (made during manufacture of the piece) and I am not sure if there is something missing that would have been inserted into the basket. There are no makers marks on either piece so I don’t know the origin but my guess is likely Germany as many bisque items come from there . Thanks for taking a look!.
