1950s Biedermeier Victorian style figurine lady hat flowers European? Austria?
A beautiful vintage porcelain figurine of a lady with flowers and a hat in her hands. It appears to be good quality but I have been unable to identify the maker. It is finely and sensitively hand painted. There are marks and information on the bottom but I can’t completely decipher them. It is very similar to the well known “Shirley” figurine by Wien Keramos of Austria and designed by artist Josef Lorenzl. I believe it is European; there are some numbers that may be a model or mold number and a measurement of 22 centimeters, which corresponds to its actual height. There is also a date on the bottom written in pencil with the year 1955. There is a mark, which seems to be a capital D or O in a circle, but I cannot figure out the manufacturer despite much searching.
