Adorable Realistic BABY BEAR Figure 8-3/4” Castagna Originals, Italy 1992 EXCLT
Adorable baby brown bear sculptured figure. The name is carved into the bottom back of him “(c) 1992 CASTAGNA”. Also has a tiny foil sticker on the bottom, but it is very hard to read. I have researched this piece and found that he is made of a resin alabaster blend. Castagna specialized in making many different kinds of animal figures. Very realistic looking. He is holding his little paw up, like he is asking for someone to come and play with him.:)). Or he just wants to say Hi. Measures about 8-3/4” high and about 6” wide at the bottom. Excellent condition, no cracks or chips. Weighs about 2-1/2 lbs. Thanks for looking.
