You have found the missing piece to your art glass collection! Here is an incredible majestic cockatoo created by ALFREDO BARBINI in MURANO, Italy. It is resplendent in tones of lavender and pearly white with shimmering gold dust accents. Please view the photos closely to appreciate the expert craftsmanship of this piece. It has beautiful proportions. Overall, it measures 12 1/2″ tall by 5″ wide by 4″ deep. Prior to the 1970’s, Barbini used stickers to mark his pieces. The sticker is long gone, but there are several other similar pieces by Barbini for comparison that confirm his style. In excellent preowned condition, with a few scuffs on the base from use.
